Default Outdoor Lighting

Please critique lighting on this one. And exposure - I did do a little curves adjusment.

I think it's a nice shot, but there is a lot going on in it.

I keep getting drawn to the vines camera right. The background is a spot busy too.

It is a very busy photo with a lot pulling your eye from place to place. I like it a lot and I think it works, definately different. Very good use of lighting too.

Thanks guys. Yeah those vines are a little out of control - we actually kind of pulled them back and tucked them under her arm to get what we did. If I had brought the umbrella closer and not let it spill onto the vines I guess that would've helped? I'm still getting used to exposing properly with it/lighting ratios and tend to forget about controlling the light. Another setup I had you could tell the light was pointing at her chest and fallng off slightly by the time it got to her face. Maybe something going on subconsciously on that one though...

I like it too, but I'm not sure about the landscape orientation. A 5x7 portrait crop with the left side splitting the post near her right arm looks appealing to me. I definitely like the idea.
