Default Spring Flower

Our 19mnth old Addison just loves being outdoors since it's started getting nice out. She was nice enough to let her daddy take some pictures while she explored our back yard
I really liked how this photo turned out but I was curious what an outsiders perspective thought of the composition and content of the shot. Would it be better if i cropped so she was further towards the right of the frame? Too boring with the B&W?
thanks!

Thumbs up

I love B&W! What a great photo best one I have seen all day! I wouldn't change a thing!

I might crop more off the left (behind her back)...not so much she is crowded. The bw conceals the flower she holds in her left hand (I think she is holding a flower or a dandilion puff).
Adorable photo.

thank you for the feedback! when i was playing around with different crops, i wanted to take little bit off the right side so she was further to the right of the frame but in doing that i would have had to take some off the top and i didnt want to crop out any of her hand or head so this is what i ended up with.
I agree that the B&W does conceal the 2nd dandelion in her left hand but the effect the b&w gave seemed to outweigh that to me. whatdya think?
Here's a link to the color version for comparison:

I think it looks great! If I had to chose, I'd pick the B&W one, and maybe crop it ever so slightly to have her more to the right as you mentioned.

thanks for the ideas! i think i lean towards the b&w too. I'm going to play around w/ a little tighter crop today and see if it works a bit better.

The black and white does conceal the flowers a little, but I really like it better than the color, and I think it's still great without the flowers standing out.

Default It's a keeper

When you get finished to your liking, you surely need to frame this one and hang it on the wall. Nicely done!

thank you for all the comments! i did like the color also but i thought the black and white was less distracting and had more of a classic look to it. i just might try framing it. how often do ya get to catch them in such a cute moment, right!
