Default My Daughter

IMG_1289

My first post and it's a picture of my daughter.

Would like critique on the pose, and lighting.....or anything else.

Thanks
Taken with Canon 30D, 70-200mm, f2.8, 1/60

I think it's a really nice shot. Makes me wonder what she's thinking about.

To be honest, the frame / border kinda kills it for me thou.

I agree with Wood. The first thing I saw was the border/frame....then I noticed the beautiful little girl!

That said, the photo itself is quite lovely. I like the crop and the lighting.

I agree about the frame, but love the crop and placement of your daughter in the photo.
Really nice picture!

Thanks everyone. When I was doing the frame I thought it really finishes the picture but now I kinda agree that it somewhat takes it away.

Anyhow, thanks!

I see a lot of people framing their shots, but if I were going to use one, I'd stick to a small simple solid white, or black border. You want the attention drawn to the subject before the border.
