Default My friend and Cape Shank.

my fren michelle...

this is a random natural photo of my friend in cape shank... she looks a bit shy i think... i called her name and when she turned around i caught her photo out of the blue... i'm a beginner in photography, so any critics brutal or nice are welcome...

That's the problem - it does look pretty random. It captures a moment that you and her might want to remember - not an unworthy aim in itself - but doesn't suggest the artistry that goes into a great photograph.

What in particular are you looking for comments about in this picture and also what equipment and settings did you use? It might be worth taking a look at the sticky rules thread for this forum to get an idea of what is requested for a critique post.
