Looks like you have done post processing to create the soft effect of the skin. Pls post the EXIF for better critique. Do you have any specific questions?

I don't know how the original looks like but I'm quite sure that there's no need to work on her skin, as usually children's skin is so soft already. But I have to say she is GORGEOUS, I love her pose, the expression on her face and the warmth in her eyes.

Love the photo. She is a beautiful little one. My only suggestion is to watch cutting off the edge of her arm and her fingers at the edge. Other than that it beautiful. Good job.

The main thing I can think of that will help the most is to get down at her level. I have small kids, and some of my best shots are ones taken when my camera is no higher than their chin. We always see the top of children's heads as adults because our view is always looking down on them. When you get down on their level, you enter their world and it's a magical place.
But, that said, these are great shots. Love the eyes,
