Personally, I think the lighting and exposure are very nice. The pose, however, is IMO less than desirable. To someone who didn't know he was blind, he looks like he might be sleeping or is looking at something on the ground. And the pose puts his eyes in the shadows. I personally might have asked him to raise his head a little so his white shirt would reflect light onto his eyes.
EDIT: And thinking about it a little more, I would have lowered the camera position, perhaps even getting below parallel with him. Being above him (even just the little bit) diminishes him, and being level or slightly below would make him greater in stature and respect. Last edited by ttosifa; 05-05-2009 at 06:39 PM. |

Considering your circumstances, and the fact that you couldn't actually "pose" him, I like it! I think the son or daughter will love it.
