Default Impromtu Portrait

Hey guys and gals! I was hanging out with some family the other day..decided to bring my camera.

At one point we were sitting in a restaurant...we got a table by the window that let in this rather cool light and i used it to my advantage.

This is a picture of my cousin...i must say, i love the way the light brought out his eyes. what do you think?

Brian

I like the DOF but not to keen on the crop of the top of his head and chin and him being centred.

I have to ask, what are those catchlights? They are greenish blue and look like anti-reflective lenses.

I would have cropped more. The balding guy in the background is distracting me. I would have cut some off both the left and right then totally centered his face. I really like the light in this.

Also, his chin is just barely cut off. I keep looking for it.

I also checked out your flickr. You've got some really good pictures on there.

Please take a minute to read the rules for posting in the critique sections. Their posted at the top of the page.

What do you think is hardly a specific question. Adding the EXIF info to your thread is also a plus.

having him centered doesnt look well. add to that his chin and top o' his head are missing, and you have poor composition, nice light be damned.
