pictures to share 181_edited-1

This is a photograph I took as an engagement photo for my cousin. I was wondering what people thought of the Composition and the water?
Thanks for your critique

The water looks beautiful, and it is a lovely shot of the couple. I think the composition could use a bit of tweaking - maybe crop in the right a bit - closer to that smaller rock. I don't mind centered compositions, but with that small rock on the right the centered composition doesn't work for me.

Great overall!

its s great concept actually. i like the exanse this uncropped one shows. possibly a vignette around the edge could bring a bit more insentity.. and well as draw the eye toward the centre

a crop putting them to the side would also work.
very good though.

I think that the photo has a very ethereal feel, which is really romantic (great for an engagement shoot) I also love the water, it adds alot more interest to the picture. Composition is great, this is one of the few centered shot that I think works really well for the overall feel of the picture, I wouldnt change a thing... Great Work!!!

How on earth did you get them to be so sharp with a 5 second exposure? They must be really good at staying perfectly still!

I really really like this. A tiny (I mean really tiny) amount of vignetting in the upper right would be good I think. And I would try a version with the small rock cloned out, the composition is perfect and very symetric but that rock draws my eye away and unbalances everything. I could be wrong, but I'd try it anyway to find out.

Excellent concept and execution!

I was thinking that too. 5 seconds...and that sharp is fantastic. I'm sure a tripod/wireless remote helped but jeez.

I think it needs a crop. I think the left it too wide putting them a bit off center.

I really like this picture, but theres one small thing that I would suggest... maybe clone out the skin showing below her shirt.
