Yes I had them sit very still this was 1 of 7 shots I took of them on the rock, they were very cooperative I also used a flash on a 2nd curtain sync.
Here is another shot of the same couple from a different angle. You can see when the flash went off it caught a splash in the water by his left foot. I edited it a bit in photoshop to give it a slightly out of focus look, I thought it softened up the picture a bit.

I was just coming to ask the same thing!!

But I do love the misty look of the water because it was captured over such a long exposure period. Nice job!

Long exposure time makes water look like the clouds... Like they are sitting on a mountain top that peaks trough the clouds into the sky... If you crop it, this look could be lost.

(This is for the 1st photo)

All good critiques. I esp agree with the slight of skin showing under the shirt. I would also like to suggest cropping off-center, maybe cloning some of the water and expanding the canvas to the left. that tiny rock... =)
