Default Nice Hat.

I took this picture at a winter carnival around Montreal. Yes I think this is going to add to the ongoing rumors in the old continent that we in Canada still live in Tipi and have cowboys and indians shooting each other LOL.

I am new to this and not very good at portrait so any comment to improve the shot could help.

nice hat

It's a great shot. I think if you cropped it it might grab the eye better. The post doesn't say if anyone could modify your pic, but I think a horizontal crop with the face at the right, extending to the far left edge of the pic would look nice. It's a stretch so you may not be able to get a large print out of it. The background may look a bit busy and this might help focus on your subject. Love the headgear

Fix2

Hope you don't mind, I gave it a shot. I aligned it, cropped, and did an Elements 'Auto Fix'.

Thank you for all your coments, i think the croped version looks very good. this was already a croped out picture so i don't think i could get a good print out of it b ut it's cool.
next time, i will try to get in closer to my subject or have along with me a biger zoom lens.
