Default Infant isolated on black

My wife had a baby this weekend, so I took him in for a photo shoot yesterday. I shot this against a black sheet from walmart and a lamp for a light source.

I'm not sure if I should redo this picture with my wife not wearing long sleeves. Does the sleeve make it look better, or should I re-do this?

No clue why the pic doesn't show up, but you can view it at http://flickr.com/photos/jimharmer/3252908341/

I don't know if it's just me, but I'm not seeing a picture...

congratulations!

i dont do studio work so I couldnt tell you how to move the lights but there is a heavy shadow on his neck and the side of his face that you need to fix next time. Im also really distracted by the noise on her sleeve.

I use black velvet. You can see some of the pictures in my link below (only the one shoot, "baby Q"). I used natural light from a window.

have fun! i absolutely love shooting newborns!!!! check out this link for some fun ideas too!
