When I'm doing free shoot, I take no shame in keeping a posing book near by, I even have a collection of poses on my pda... I steal 'em from the net, I won't lie [lol] then print out small copies to refer to while shooting. I also got a free posing guide off the net (there's a link to it here on the forums somewhere) which I'll sometimes pull out for the customer (the "stolen" ones are only for my reference!) so they can suggest poses they would like to see.

thats a grea tidea to just have small copies to refer to! I usually study for hours the night before, just looking at all the newborn pictures I can. I need to at least make a list of the ones i like....... thanks!
