You have the mood down. I like the pose and expression - it works well with the setting and color of the photo. A couple things I notice about this shot:
- The plywood in the background really distracts. There really doesn't need to be that much space on the right anyways, so cropping would help some. - She isn't in focus. I can't find your focal point in this photo. If you can post your EXIF data, it would be helpful. - Good job on not letting any shadows fall on her eyes. That is harder to accomplish than you might think!

nevena_syrmia,
Of one thing you can be sure: it's memorable. I remember the post from November, the subject and your image of her. I could enjoy either version, though cropped does focus more attention her way. I like the studio look, too, with the drawing board. Memorable. The second photo, also familiar, has less impact because of position and lighting of subject. As a "working artist" shot, it is good, setting the scene.

What settings did you use on the second photo? It's a really nice photo but the background (the other easel and artists) are a tad distracting. If you shot RAW try increasing exposure a little. It will blow out more of the distracting background and bring out more detail in your subject.
Love the first one. Great pose, expression, and color!
