When I did this shoot I wanted everything to seem out of place. I guess what I mean, it's not everyday you see a pretty young girl in a dress sitting on a porch of a bug/rat infested abandoned house.

I've done multiple edits trying to get the light, and contrast right. I wanted it to be different, but did I go too far?

By the way, she was wearing a bikini under the dress. It was a 4 location shoot, and the second spot was the beach. I didn't want anyone to think it was here drawers hanging out!

I like the shot, but it does almost seem like she was photoshopped into the scene. I think it may be because it is such an extreme transition on places such as her feet and the deck.

It is an eye grabbing shot though!

I understand what kodiakstar is saying. She seems much lighter than the area immediately surrounding her.

I really do like the shot and I understand what you going for. I do agree with KodiakStar that she looks photoshopped in, like she's too flat.

I never saved the original, but have one very similar SOOC other than crop, and tag.

I tried lighting her so she would separate from the surroundings if that makes any since.

I wanted the area around her to be of notice, but I tried to get her to pop right off the image. Off the wall, but it was fun.

You certainly did make her pop!

Overall though, I do like the shot and your thought for PP, very creative.

Certainly did make her pop off of the page... I think the lack of cast shadows and proximity shadows is why it has been stated that she was "pasted" in... But i understand what you were attempting... I wonder if it was toned down just a little bit?

I'm actually thinking the background isn't "decayed" enough for the impact you wanted.
I think the lighting is a little flat as well (looking at the original) which may have something to do with the amount of "post" and the "photoshopped" comments.
I like the idea, and it's a solid attempt.
