Default Help me make it memorable.

This is my son's first successful sit, can you help me make it memorable? I really like the leather of the couch, but is the cushion line bothersome? Would this work in B&W? Do you think the high angle takes away from the achievement of the sitting? Feel free to edit and repost.

Is it OK to edit and repost your photo?

I do know that cropping seems to help. The photo is left heavy, so removing some of the space to the right will help balance it. HTH

Default My effort

Hi again, my apologies for the PM...you replied to the thread as I sent it...

Anyhoo...I agree with dhart, it seems a little heavy on the right side. The leather is cool, just no need to have so much.

So, I cropped it, adjusted the curves and color balance slightly to give his skin a little more color (too much? I hope not. I thought it had a slight blue tint to it, so I just wanted to warm it up enough to remove that), and then enhanced and brightened his eyes a bit.

The fact that there was a strong catch light in his left eye and none in his right was a little distracting for me. So, I toned it down slightly.

He sure is a cutie! How old? Love those firsts! Memorable regardless, but nice to have a camera handy.

Thanks for letting me have a go at it!

Default I like it.

Very Nice, SandeeWig. Thanks. I didn't noticed the eye reflection until you pointed it out. Great suggestions and example.

Nice Dr. WooD - this is a great version that I don't have the abilities to do myself. Well done.
