I think it's a pretty picture. There is a teeny shine spot on her nose that could probably be fixed pretty easily, but otherwise, while I like to take portraits - I'm not good enough with lighting to offer up anything more specific or critical.

Only distraction I could suggest changing is background showing through hair, especially left of chin. If you have a choice of b/g, darker would fix that.

Portraits are often said to be better when the eyes are nearer the thirds line, but that may be advice for another photo. Cropping this one would not work so well. A little tight on the left, still basically a good photo.

Thank you for giving me your advice and opinion. I do see what you mean with the shine on the nose, thank you for pointing it out. It helps to get other photographers opinion, thats the only way one can improve in what they like to do, learning and asking for advice

So thank you for your compliments and advice

Thanks for your advice on this photo

I'm a beginner in model photography, so I hope to keep learning new things every day on how i can improve. I will keep in mind the dark background for my next close up shoots

The cropping well, that's how I cropped it from camera, but I do see what you mean, it's a little tight in the crop, I've got a lot to learn still, so thank you for helping me improve my photography.

I need to learn more about the thirds line rule

Thanks again for taking time to help me improve on photography

Hey Criste,
Really beautiful portrait. Perhaps as sugguested s crop, but remember rules are made to be broken, go with what the model and yourself are happy with.
Getting very picky I would say to leave a soft shadow on this side of her face. Her nose lacks depth. Very good job.
