Default Wrinkled selfportrait

Hi,

I the past few days I've been a little caught up in the wrinkles on my forehead in this selfportrait. Do they bother you? I'm wondering whether I should clone them out or not. According to my wife, I get that look when I'm discovering something and when I'm surprised, but is that evident in this shot? Naturally my forhead is smooth when I'm not opening up my eye like that

Every time I shoot something, I immediately start searching for my next shot.

Camera: Nikon D300
Exposure: 0.033 sec (1/30)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 1600

I think it would look very unnatrual if you got rid of those.

well zetson if you say your 4head isnt always like that and your wife says its like that when you are discovering something that is a bit contrdictary. because if its true about it being like that when you are dicovering something, then i gotta believe from your photos that your 4head is like that 90% of the day!

Those aren't wrinkles! They are roads leading to discovery

I like the shot as is. Besides, you're too young to worry about wrinkles!

Unless you're planning on the shot being an ad for botox, I'd leave the wrinkles in! I'm more bothered by the out of focus camera and hands.

I agree now. It will probably look like a botox head.

Well spoken Like antennas? Interesting. I will keep a mirror with me at all times, just to see where my forehead is pointing.

Thank you.

I guess you're right. But luckily they are just roads to discovery. (Ah, excellent phrase. I'll probably say the same thing to my wife if she gets some).

Thank you, dlaf.
Who knows? Well, I know. It won't I tried one shot with everything in focus, and it didn't look like they way I wanted. I wanted the eyeball to really stand out, and with everything focused it just didn't. But thank you for your opinion.

Yes, I've heard that we are a little strange that way. It is because of a misconception about where the heart localized in the chest. In the old days, Norwegians thought anatomy was a French cheese, so they assumed the heart was on the right side of the chest. The ring shall be on the hand closest to the heart.

Coweye, translated "kuøye" is either a small window on a boat, or an old person who's complaining about EVERYTHING. (No, I don't know where the logic in that is either)

I would dodge (lighten) the black line in the crease so it doesn't look like a pair of lips over your eyes. (Now you will never look at this photo the same way again. )
