I like the background exposure, but it looks to me like you could use some light added on the subject. Right now, the frontal light looks like a reflection from the floor, which isn't the most flattering possible light direction.

Subject posing works very well for me. It looks like you have captured an excellent moment. (This is one of the things I have the hardest time with, FWIW.)

I'd like to see the subject taken out of the exact center of the photo, but given the symmetry of the background, I think this isn't as important here as it is in some photos.

The lighting is a little flat (Lacking contrast). I like the pose and the overall mood and the control of depth of field is good.

I thought I would try an edit of your sister. Did I do too much? I don't know, I'd have to sit with it overnight. In any case I though I'd post it for you.

Well, obviously I masked her out and shifted the background hue. I wanted the eye to go to her face first and foremost. So I cloned the pavement out and added a soft dark vignette and crop. I took out the phone and parts of the cloth fold on her right arm, I changed the saturation and curves of her top and tried my best to change the lighting on her face. I wanted to replace the rather flat shade lighting with a key light from our right side and replicate a fill light from our left side. I also balanced her iris so they matched.
It was fun nevertheless.
