Default Brynlee sleeping

This is a random shot that I had to take because she looked so peaceful and the way the lighting came in from the window just seemed to hit her right. I was kinda torn because black and white looked good also. Please give any feedback good or bad I'm still learning.

Thanks!

Nicely done!

You have some nice soft natural window light, the darkened edge to the top right stops anything there being distracting, a nice shallow depth of field with it focused on her eyes.

Being colour you you can see that her blanket is pink, and shows that it's a girl in the photo and not a boy. Anyone who wouldn't otherwise know probably wouldn't be able to tell in a B&W photo (you can't always tell by looking at the baby when they're that young).

This is a beautiful photo and little girl. Well done!
You have to love your 50mm. It is for this type of shot that I got mine a few months ago.
