Alter-Ego (Image 2 of 3)

Hi,
I'm new to the forum, and thought I would get your opinions on this image. As the title of the thread states its image 2 of 3, which basically shows the shadows around the person getting stronger and the person seemingly fighting the shadow (alter-ego) and finally surrendering.

I am hoping to submit these in a local photography and art competition coming up in a few months. Any critique is welcome.
