I like it as is. Her arm pose is like super girl flying through the air. Adorable kid.

Is this a crop or the original? If it's the original I would leave it as it is.

The light on her face and the catchlights are gorgeous! I love that middle part of the photo, but I find the edges distracting. My eyes keep being drawn away from her face up to her hands, and I keep trying to figure out what she is doing with her ponytail. And I also think the print on her shirt takes attention away from her beautiful face.

Thanks Lisa. This is the original, unfortunately. I didn't have much to work with but this was the best of the set. And she is a "twirler" so that is what she was doing with her ponytail. To me- endearing, to other viewers who don't know that I can certainly see how it could be a distraction, HOWEVER I kept cropping her hands off at the wrist and it just felt....bizarre. Kwim? That's why I posted. I wonder if a closer crop would be less distracting?

Ahh, knowing that, I can see why you like it. By all means don't crop that out.

I think anything closer would make you wonder where her hands are going or what they are doing. It would feel broken off. They always say not to crop at joints. And you've got good reason to keep that top portion of the photo; it just wasn't apparent to me. Now I see how cute that must be to you!
