OK, so one of the tips i keep seeing to improve ones skills is to ask for criticism and accept it.... so here we go....

My daughter with the (soon to be ) little brother... if you cannot tell the block are on my wife's pregger belly...

D40, Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 i borrowed for the weekend
‎1/60, f/5.6, 65mm, ISO 800, external Flash bounced to ceiling.

Any comments, lighting, composition, this is one of my favs, buit its MY kid so I am much less likely too see its shortcomings...

I like the idea, but I think the picture should include more of your wife.

What a cute idea! I love it!

To improve on the shot I would use something a bit darker and warmer for the background as your little girl has such light skin. The pale background seems to be washing her out a bit as does the color of your wife's shirt. Your daughter is ADORABLE and you want to show off that perfect skin tone.

I would include more of the tummy as well. Tell your wife to eat some of that strawberry ice cream and pickles lol

I love the photo idea of her and her baby brother!
