Lights and Shadows...

Default Light and Shadows

My 1st post...just began working with natural light...Is composition good?...what about my settings could be changed? trying to learn, appreciate any critiques...?

Composition is not bad but the harsh lights and shadows are not flattering at all. I'd also be careful (sorry about this) making the nose hair so prominent.

thanks for the critique...wondered about the "nose hair" so...should have moved her further from the light to soften it?

was the light from a window or something you set up? At any rate, position g her so the light wasn't shining up would have helped. Watch where the lighting falls tho cause too far up and you have the mustache shadow

light was living room window east rising sun early morning, she was sitting, and light was barreling in. did have her move around to try to capture different shots. TKS for the feedback, appreciate it much.
