First off, what post processing did you do? Also, what you were going for on this shot? What was your motive and reason for shooting it?

Did you sharpen it at all? The reason I ask if because (and it may be my screen) it feels a little grainy. I am assuming it was fairly dark that is why you shot it at 800 ISO.

I am still learning about positioning for portraits but I am not totally sure about the ankle crop. I say that because it is so close to her feet, it feels they should be there. I may be wrong though.

Personally, like the pose but think I would have moved her to the right side of the frame more to give her hair more space to fall into. I know that you typically should allow room in the direction the model is facing but since her head and hair are falling back, I think it might have made it a little stronger. This is probably just personal taste though.

Can you clone out the bra strap inside her shirt? Only after really looking at the photo did I see it, but I see it nonetheless.

I hope this helps.

What MWatson said. Feet, feet, feet. Don't cut 'em off! As for the overall picture, I feel she blends in a little too much into the background. Not enough contrast. Good attempt at the style though.

I'd do something different with her arms and hands. They dont fit at all and feel like they are just hanging there. Perhaps a hand on her hip, pointing or something. They need to look like they are doing something. Create shapes with your poses. Triangles work well with portraits. Both with groups and in posing a single subject. Create shapes and lines that lead to something.

I really like that background. If the situation allowed, I would have pulled the shirt up a little bit on the back of her shoulder so it did not hang quite so loose.

I quite like it. It's a gritty image, but that suits the rock I think. The bra strap doesn't bother me.

I like the lighting, and flow of her hair.

The arms, and cropped off legs don't work well thou.

If you rotate the photo 90 degrees clockwise, it looks like she's swimming underwater.
