I like it Yulchick, although I find the placement of the body a bit odd. I would give it a square crop from the left and ending just past the arm to cut off her body..

She is gorgeous and so is the photograph, apart to me, the body..

I'm no expert but if it was my child, or grandchild, I would much prefer a crop just past her shoulders. She has such a gorgeous face and the hand placement is superb, I'd want to just focus on that. I know that the hair on her body is natural but I think I'd want it toned down or made to disappear. I don't know if that is acceptable or not but that's my layman's view. The body just looks awkward.

hmm thanks guys. I thouhgt the placement looks ok, but I did get a comment from a friend that it looks like a slug due to no legs.. do you think if the leg and lil toes would show, it wouldn't look as awkward?

I share the above opinions of the "slug" body. Yeah, some feet/toe visibility would help the shot i think.

Toning looks good though (and it might be me) the exposure seems a bit bright to me on the face/shoulder.. but it could be my monitor.

All-in-all, it's a nice first effort they should be very happy with.

I agree with the others about the body being odd - it was one of the first things I noticed. The coloring is fantastic.

One of my pet peeves though is little fuzzies on blankets. Right near her left elbow I see about 5 white fuzzies - and over to the far right of the photo. It is just one of those things that gets to me when it is an easy fix.

It really is an awesome shot though.

hehe, yep I noticed those too. I did fix some of the photos, but its just so time consuming, and since I did this for free to just see what it'd be like to photograph someone elses baby, I didnt bother removing all of them. The lady that its for is perfectly fine with all her photos being done on a cellphone, so I didnt want to bother. Thanks for the feedback
