Playing outside

Here is a picture I took of my boy outside playing in the leaves. I thought it turned out pretty well. I'm new to the DSLR and am loving every minute of it. This website is great and has helped me out tremendously!

I'm also new to DSLR and to the site so am afraid I probably can't offer up any critique as such... However, I just wanted to let you know that I think this photo is spectacular! The colours are fab and you captured the moment perfectly! I'm sure that the pro's will offer some advice re cropping etc, but i think it's spot on! Well done

Beautiful shot. I love the composition. The only thing I could recommend is a little fill flash on his face, or a little dodge in post process to brighten his face up. He's a cutey, but the bright top of the trees are stealing the attention away.

LOVE the color of the leaves!!! Unfortunately, the leaves seem like the "star" of the photo. Maybe crop it a bit so he is more of the focal point.
