Default Critque request - Indoor Portraits

I purchased some continuous lighting recently and my in-laws wanted my wife and I to do their Portraits. The lighting could have been a lot better. Found we had to crank up the iso to be able to keep a decent ss. All comments are welcomed on what we do wrong. I only used some light PP'ing to set it to B&W, brighten the exposure a tad and reduce some clarity.

Here is one of the photos from flickr. It was shot with a Nikon 85mm 2.0 on a Nikon D5000 at ISO 640, SS 1/60th sec at F4. You can view the others from my facebook albums here.
