Hello everybody, hope you're all doing alright.
I took this today on a huge hurry, I would have loved spending more time on location, interesting one, but I was late for an appointment and had to leave in a rush, I'm propably going back tomorrow, hope the guys there will still be tolerant with the camera. Anyways, is it too tight of a crop? since I was using the 50mm and not much space to move around, I should have included more of the guy, like some of his other leg or something? but I wanted this as tight as it goes to give the feeling you're actually sitting right beside him and watching the welding, so what do you think about that? Any general critique would much be appreciated ASAP, to fix on tomorrow's shoot, the color toning, the shutter speed ( I might try going for a smaller aperture and longer shutter to get SPIKY sparks instead of rounded and MORE sparks, don't know if that would work or would it be too crowded, I'm gonna try)... so ANY FEEDBACK would HELP a lot, here you go... ![]() Working with the stars by Ahmed Yousry EXIF f2.8 1/1600 50mm canon 500D |

Very cool shot! It's nicely framed, tells a story, and it's got SPARKLES!
Have you considered playing with the crop though? I think you could easily bring it in tighter

This is such a cool shot!!
I don't think the crop is too tight, the cut off arms and leg actually don't bother me. In fact, I would try cropping out a little more of the (wall?) on the left side of the picture, and a little of the black space at the top. And, maybe also the stick close to the bottom. It's a bit distracting. Just some suggestions. Other than that, I wouldn't do anything else.

I think it's excellent as is. Leave it alone and be happy.
