Hi!
I am new to this Forum and this is my first post so I am unsure if this is correct.... I use Nikon and have limited equipment so I feel like I am often faced with challenges that I am unsure of how to overcome. This was my first time manipulating an image post production. The leaf is it's natural color. I am constantly trying to improve my skills. I am a novice at best. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! |

love the idea, a shame both eyes aren't visible but love the focus on the leaf.....and I get why you did the selective color (but be aware it appears most here dislike the gimmick of it, I on the otherhand like it in some instances because as a serious scrapbooker I see the creative side of it and how it can really tell the story so kudos for the time it took in post to do that).
I suppose had you adjusted your aperature to blur the child even more it may have been even more effective. thanks for sharing.

I love the image and agree very much with the points made by Corry. The eyes are so important in the image. This is such a simple and very effective way to convey the fall them. Very nice.

Great points!!! Thank you! I will absolutely remember the point about the eyes! I am not a huge fan of the color/ b&wh either to be honest but I sort of like it here. (I am a scrapbooker too and like punches of color
