What suggestions do you have to make this a better shot? It was taken in a hospital, so didn't have the greatest light, but I would love to get some better shots of my newborn.

The shot has lot of potential. Composition is ok. Compared to the white background, baby looks a bit underexposed. SS of 1/50 must have kicked in the hand shake and resulted in lack of focus on the face.

The pink flower is too bright and overpowering the baby. I would try few shots without such props and then a few with a smaller and simpler flower with softer color like lighter pink or lemon yellow.

Nice capture of a beautiful baby! I would like to see this on a different color background- the white background isn't really doing much for me, the background seems overexposed while the baby is underexposed. Also agree that the pink flower is a bit of a strong color for this shot. Maybe if it were smaller it would fit in better. Congratulations, beautiful baby!
