Default Jump at the beach!

Hi all, first time posting after months of reading others posts and getting some great advice and tips. Took this shot at the beach last week- had a question for you. Does that flash of light between the hotels bother you? I tried to clone out the hotels and that was a mess, and then cloned out the light- but then it looked too dark or something. I am sending the couple their CD tomorrow, and really liked this photo... but I have looked at it too much to be objective. Any opinions? Thanks!

**And if anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong trying to embed photo in post, that would be helpful too!

The little bit of light between the buildings is not bother me...
The fact you missed the timing on the shot does.
Colors are nice, exposure is nice. Composition/ timing not so much.

I'll +1 to this. I really really love the colors, and the fact that it makes a nice silhouette.
If you wouldn't have said this was a jump shot, I would have never guessed.
It kind of looks like they are sneaking up on something. It's an interesting shot in itself, but if it was not intentional, it just falls short. Just a little earlier on the timing, and it would have been dead on.

Default Oops...

Guess I should have titled it pre-jump (although it's very interesting you guys thought it was afterwards!) Attached are the post jump photos.... the original one was purely an accident, when I was going over the shots afterwards, I really liked the silhouettes.

Now you have me wondering if they will think I missed the moment too .... maybe I will keep this one to myself.
Thanks for the opinions on the light- I think I will just leave it be.

Great colors and composition! Although I would like to have seen a hand-in-hand walking shot.
With the location, the composition and the colors you have, that I think, would have been the money shot

Thanks all! I'm glad everyone appreciated the lighting- wish I could always shoot in such great conditions. Going up to Baltimore this weekend for a Zombie 5K... hope to catch some great shots there that I can post!

The second shot is so much better!! The first one just doesn't tell the story and it leaves us wondering about their pose. The second shot just have so much more dynamic quality- it's a real winner!
