Hi All,
Wow! It's been nearly a whole year since I've posted (my bad) but don't think I haven't been around. I've been reading and learning and reading some more. I recently purchased some studio lights (Yes, those ones off Ebay) to play around with. A friends sister offered to model for me so we got together and this is one of the shots we came away with. ![]() Exif: D90 w/ Tamron 17-50 2.8 f/5 1/100sec ISO 640 Exp Comp: -1.3 (Don't know why I did that, maybe so I could get a faster SS, can't remember either way) Focal length: 50mm (Probably one of the reasons why the photo isn't 100% sharp???) It was shot with 2 shoot through brollys with continuous lights (125w bulbs) and I also bounced my SB600 on camera off the ceiling. So, I know the photo isn't 100% sharp. Is this because I shot at 50mm and lenses are pretty much never 100% sharp at the longest end? Or is it user error? LOL! Also, I nearly always chop off an arm or something that really should be included in the picture. I know we were very limited with space in my loungeroom but no excuses really, it seems to be a bad habbit! Does it kill the photo? Anywhos, I do really like the picture overall but any coments and criticisms & other things I haven't picked up that you can point out to me would be greatly appreciated! =) Thanks in advance!! Kayla
