Default Pregnant Wife

Alright, this is my first time posting and I am a learning photographer and would love tips and getting started making my shots better. This one is kinda low res as I don't have the original shot currently on me.

You can see more of the pictures in the sequence at Alan Combs's Photos | Facebook

Thanks in advance.

For the attached photo, the first thing that caught my eye was composition. I think you were on the right track with the pose and placement in the frame, but it's a little off. Part of her leg being cut off and her hand on the left side makes it awkward and would have been a better composition getting all in the frame. I think it's been a fairly common thing for a lot of people, including myself, to sometimes pay too much attention to the middle of the frame when composing and forgetting about the edges. No big deal, keep practicing!
