Hello
Here is a shot from a recent fashion shoot I did. I had a hard time trying to figure out if this is a successful shot or not. What do you think of her feet in this shot? Anything I can or should have done to make it look more natural? How would you have posed her feet? Any other critique welcome! I feel if you were looking for a 1950's look, then for me, you got it right (except for the ankle tat). If you are not selling the dress, then a crop at/just above the knee without losing the right hand?
Just my 2 cents..I am not a portrait photographer, nor did I sleep in a Holiday Inn.

Hi,
Everything looks good. I would have had the model turn her face over towards the light slightly or illuminated her from the other side a little. The fact that I cant see the other side of her face throw me off. But then again that could just be me. Lighting is good and she is standing very nicely. Keep up the good work. I also do fashion photography, check out some of my work on my site. |

Thanks everyone. She was wearing black pumps which were hard to light on a dark grey bg. I'll have to keep that in mind for next time. As for the tattoo's... I should have cloned them out... or note to self either have the MUA cover them or choose a model without tattoo's.
