Maybe it's just me, but both the hand and the glasses seem a little soft. For me, I'd love to see the glasses nice and sharp since that's what is drawing my eyes in. I've got thing about hands and like to see them nice and sharp in pics like these, but not necessarily required.

As for the composition, I really like what you did here. The black and white works nicely.

D3000: Has much greater noise with higher ISO..but "response" faster compared to my D5100.

Diagonal lines: The diagonal lines look great which every corner - legs, tossue, hand, and specs and they form "Z" or Lissajous curve (a=3, b=0) eye moving movement for me.

Reflection: Show something in the spec (reflection) so you have more solid focus intention?

Aperture: Why F7.1?

B&W: Great lines, and shapes. May be tone need to be further contrast?

Intension: What do you want us to focus? fingers or spec or reflection from the spec? aperture? tone?

If you are showing the reflection from the spec, color it light yellow will be great color and tone composition, and blur out the hand and fingers, using post-production method.

My opinion, the software suggest only B&W, but we can do more than that.. right?

Anyway, i am just a fresh learner of photographing. Comment if i am wrong.. ty.

The B&W really looks good in this photo. It works for some photos, and other photos, it doesn't. I think it works really good for this one.

I agree with Ridgetop, though, the hand and glasses look a little soft. You can try fixing that with the 'sharpness' or 'clarity' tools on your editing program.

And good title, this picture really does give the impression of 'just chilling...'
