Wink First Couple Shoot

Out of focus

This was my first couple photo session. I wanted to try something different than the typical couple photos that I have seen. I thought this one turned out pretty good. What do you think?

Let me say, first, thank you. Thanks for trying to be different. Thanks for thinking of changing perspective. Thanks for simply trying.
Exposure seems good.
Sharpness (where you intended it) is also good.
Composition (especially taking a lower angle) is good.

However good your idea was, in the end the image falls a bit flat for me because your creative use of DoF focused on something that just isn't interesting to me. It's a bush/plant/whatever that doesn't, in and of itself, have much interest, so while the concept is really good, the subject just isn't (to me).

Having said that, I commend you for trying something different, keep it up and keep posting!

I love these shots and I always do them at my weddings/engagements. If you do Triptychs or diptych they go great in them. Perfect aperture they are not TOO out of focus and the whole plan is tack sharp!

Yep, what others have already said. Get something interesting in that foreground that adds to the picture and you'll be set. Nice attempt!
