I will be very quick on this one for you.
The pose isnt great, as you havent really shown the curves of the bump, just the fact she is exposing it. There needs to be some element of side on. Your location isnt great. The subject is in shade, and strongly backlit or at least side lit. Looking at your exif, you didnt use flash for fill. I dont advocate onboard flash very much, but if its all you have got, you really needed it here. The sky is burnt out, and your subject is a little underexposed. The white balance is off also. So to cut it short you have basically chosen to shoot a bad pose in an almost impossible to shoot (with that camera, and one exposure) location for correct exposure. I can see why you chose the location to some extent, but I think you have jumped ahead of yourself and thought 'that looks like a nice place to shoot' without thinking of the light. Sorry to be so critical, but this is critique. |
