Default At the ball game

Here is a picture I took of my daughter's feet and shoes at a baseball game we recently attended. What do you think about the subject and composition? Should I edit out the mole on her Rt foot, or leave it because it shows her uniqueness?

Thanks for looking

I think it's kinda cool, interesting color, textures, and composition.

But there's something in the way. A fist? A knee? Really takes away. Can you find a crop you like that eliminates that distraction?

Honestly, the image doesn't really do anything for me, but I'll comment about the mole. Leave it. I never edit out permanent marks unless it's for a very specific reason.

That's what I was thinking. I really like the picture, it's cool and unique! But the (hand?) in front of her feet really takes away from it.
And leave the mole! I think it looks good on there. You're right, it shows her uniqueness!

Thank you for the comments!

I tried a square crop in order to remove my brother's hand. Is it too cramped now? It really doesn't show any less of her feet/shoes, but there is less surrounding atmosphere.

Do any of you ever use non-standard picture ratios when cropping?

Personally I don't find the subject matter all that interesting. That said, I much prefer the tighter crop, it caught my attention a little more. And I agree with those who say to leave the mole in.

As for non-standard cropping, if I have no intentions of printing an image and a different kind of crop suits the image best then I'll crop in a non-standard way. If it's something I plan on printing, or an image for someone else, then I stick to standard crops.

I like the lone mole. it gives the photograph more character.
