Needing feedback

Hello everyone. I'm new here.... I'm trying to learn as much as I can about photography. I can't ever seem to get what I'm going for in a picture, so I thought maybe this would be helpful.

My name is Ally, by the way.



This was obviously edited - I was trying to give it what I was going for....otherwise it was really bland with no detail. Let me know guys, thanks!

Probably a good thing... Just realized this is the PEOPLE thread. Its okay, I'm a newb. Well, it gives me an icon that says insert picture, then it says to put in a link. So I do. Its from flickr, any idea why its not working?
