I posted this picture over at SYS, but I'll also put it here because, as much as I like the shot, I'd like your input on how to improve.
- Do you think there's too much blue in the shot (her shirt, bluebonnets, the sky)? - Should I have exposed a little less to get more saturated colors? In the interest of full disclosure, I did have Auto mode on; I was just getting used to my DSLR at this point. I know that her face isn't showing, but I actually like that about the shot; it make her look like she's looking over a horizon to something that I can't see. I also probably should have gotten us out the door more quickly. This shot was taken at about 10 am local time, and the sunlight was already pretty harsh. Thanks in advance! Canon Rebel XS w/ 18-55mm kit lens f/20 at 1/200, 20.0 mm, ISO 400

It is a good idea for a photograph, but I am not really feeling it. maybe if you could see more of the face it would pop more!

I feel like this is one of those times where closer is not always better. I want to see more of what she is looking at so I think including much more of the field would be beneficial to this photo.

I get the idea, but it's not coming off for me. More of her face is necessary, I think. The blue of her blouse is louder than the other soft blues, and doesn't appeal to me.
