Default backlit on the stairs

Hi all,
it's been a while...
this is one of the photos I took this week and I really like the way it turned out.
I would love to hear your thoughts, good or bad, to get more perspectives on what I could have done differently.
you can see more photos from that day here

ISO 100
shot with the canon 85mm f/1.8 USM
flash fired from behind to the right of the model.
edited in Lightroom 3

Freeeakin awesome! Not often that I am excited about a photo, but she is beautiful and the lighting is amazing! Great shot

I think it is a very shot, one that I would be happy with. Only thing I can see that distracts me once I noticed it was the blown highlights on the hands but it may have been unavoidable. Not everyone can have an assistant to hold up a diffuser.

I know very little about posing. With that caveat, and speaking as a mom, I would rather have seen her feet together or down one step.

It really is a wonderful set of pictures though and I especially like the light coming through her hat.
