I had speedlight on a light stand with cactus V4 wireless to fire flash on the right and myself on the left. At first I was worried she would hit me. Then she hit a 225 yd drive. No worry's after that !!

This is a nice shot, nice concept (you see quite a few of golfers like this, but for some reason I never get tired of them.. even though I have no love of golf)...

Couple of thoughts...

Firstly, the subject is underexposed. Probably an easy fix in post with a levels adjustment, but at f18 with only a couple of speedlights, you're going to have that. You managed to maintain a good overall exposure, and if a tweak in post is what it takes, job well done I say.

The other issue would be the top of the mountain range. Either show more, or get rid of it completely.. as it stands, just a slender ribbon on the bottom, its just a distraction. As are the other clubs in the bottom right.

I think I"d crop the bottom edge down, clone out the garbage in the corner, use levels to increase the exposure and add a touch of contrast, maybe bump the vibrance a little.

I like her placement and overall it's a nicely done, dramatic shot.

I love how the background is exposed but her skin tone looks a bit unnatural on her face. Did you gel the flash to balance to color temperature of the flash with the ambient?

I just had my speedlight SB-600 reflecting off an umbrella touching the ground. White balance was
B-4 M-3 to make the sky pop.
