Hello,
Few weekends ago a volunteered for a rock concert in our community that helps out youth for their musical aspirations. Please critic my shots on here. Anything I could have done better in anyway or things that are done well. I need to know on how I'm doing on my hobby, any critic is greatly appreciated, thank you! In an effort to be supportive...
Most of your shots look like they're taken on auto settings (you've not included any of your EXIF camera settings)? If you want a genuine critique you'll need to choose your bestest image & include the camera settings. You've not come up with any angles other than 'audience member photographs, man playing guitar, etc.) You've got a few BW conversions in there, I'd suggest looking at Anton Corbijn's pictures of The Clash for inspiration. |

I wanted try to give you something to work with here but I am not sure how much I know about doing concert photography. What I noticed while looking through your shots that (as was said already) they are pretty basic head on guitar player shots. Which may be the only interesting aspect of the show as it looked quite 'mild'. Overall I thought your images were ok but nothing struck me as great or really all that exciting. However, the band members may love seeing pictures of themselves and that in itself may be rewarding enough for you. My favorite image in your set was this and I hope you do not mind me posting your images:

Also, keep in mind it is easy for people to get bored looking at concert photography. 99% of the time they all look the same. That is why it is important to try to get something unique.
