Default Beginning Photography--Portrait Critique

I recently got into photography. I haven't had a chance to join conversations on communities such as this one, and so I thought I would let this be my first attempt.

With that said, can I get constructive critiques for the following image? This image was taken by Lake Ontario. I did some edits in Lightroom, mainly noise reduction. I think I overdid it, what do you think?

Thank you.

EXIF info: Exposure 1/80, Aperture F2, ISO 125
Camera: Sony Alpha a33
Lens: Sony 50mm f/1.8 SAM DT Lens

It's nice, but I'd like to see a few changes. She's a little too centered in the frame (see my re-crop below). I'd also like to see a little more of her left side/shoulder in the pose..she looks a little cut off to me. A slight twist of the body would have improved that. However, you are off to a good start..you did pretty good

first off - beautiful model. you have done a great job of separating her from the background & the choice of background makes it easy to stay focused on the subject. I'll agree with Vinnie about the centered composition. Beautiful capture.
