hi and welcome. There are some "rules" for posting in critique section. Its in a sticky at the beginning of the posts for this section. In a nutshell, you need to post your exif data and try and have a particular question rather than a general "whadda think of this shot".

So with that said. I think your b&w conversion has blown the highlights on the left. The color one looks like you still have some detail there. I like the amount of contrast and punchiness of the b&w - but perhaps that amount of contrast has also pushed the highlights too far. Beautiful girl. I like the sharpening in the eyes. Nice catchlights as well.

Definitely like the color one better. Even this seems pushed to high on the contrast. I could resist and edited the photo myself. I hope you don't mind or take offense. I will remove if you don't want it posted.
I like to soften my portraits, especially women with a little negative clarity slider in camera raw(basically midtone contrast to a negative degree). I also brought the exposure down a half stop. Brought up fill light to decrease contrast even more. Added vibrance to help warm skin tones. This introduced more red than I wanted to so I decreased the red and brought up both yellows and oranges. All done in camera raw.
Photoshop I gave it a once over by lightening eyes(didn't want to do too much to the eyes as they had already be processed). Added dodge and burn to lips to add little more fullness, tiny bit of spot healing brush and finished with a slight high pass for the hair in soft light layer blend mode. Results would have been slightly different if I had started with less contrasty original. By the way, pose and crop are amazing! Nice job and Welcome!
