Too much saturation and/or overexposure on this? Face look too plastic-y? (too much pp?)
For the most part, I think less is more, but since I'm experimenting with all this new stuff, I find myself going overboard. For a few of the pics in the album below, I HAD to do more than expected. I was trying out a crappy lens and had it up to 800 iso before abandoning it, but I neglected to change the iso back when I put a better one on. Too much noise in some. ![]() Model NIKON D5100 ISO 200 Exposure 1/125 sec Aperture 8.0 Focal Length 35mm Flash Used Softbox model left/front high, grid stripbox model right rear for separation/hair White Balance 1 Metering Mode 3 Exposure Program 1 Feel free to check out my other pics...have only been shooting a few months, and this is my second model shoot. Thanks!! BT Last edited by Btdown; 07-28-2011 at 12:08 AM. |

Did you shoot in RAW or JPG? If RAW, you can adjust the exposure and shadows.

![]() VS. ![]() I prefer the one on top. Try not shooting black clothing onto dark backdrops because in post it’s a pain to fix that without affecting other things. Her face/head on the top photo is more preferred than the one the bottom where it’s a bit brighter.
