So this is a picture of my friend I took on the beach. She was running and I liked the movement in her hair, but I wanted to mess around with it a bit. Ive always liked the old school feeling of film cameras, so I decided to give it a try, I realize that its a bit over the top and what not, but I enjoy the effect. I added grain, noise, lowered the exposure a bit, put a few masks on it, and put a frame around it. Anything else I might be able to do to improve this image, and other techniques you might suggest. Thanks in advance.

I like the edit and the old school feel.. but for some reason I find the fact that her head blends with the horizon a bit distracting. I don't know how you captured the exact moment it's really parallel to the horizon but for me it looks a bit weird.

I agree and it's the only thing that distract me too - it's like the horizon has flattened her head. But lovely work otherwise.
