For me the metal thing behind him is very distracting, especially because it has a very similar colour to your subject.

I do not find the bench distracting, more as part of the "sculpture". I would like to see his whole arm though, right now the elbow was cut off and I think it detracts from the composition.

If you would have zoomed out a little bit (or stood further away) I think it would have been better.

He is out of context Art. It is intriguing and has good qualities in form and light but I can't tell if he is real or cast lead or even if he is life size or a model. If his eyes were open then it would work.
