Default Little Girl with messy hair

I took this little angels picture last weekend, but she was not so much into it. Does the hair ruin the image, or do you get stuck with the eyes like my wife & not notice the hair or yucky background?

Really an angel! I love this frame. Yeah, the hair does distract, but it also makes it look natural. TFS.

How does it look as a B/W conversion? If you don't like the background, perhaps that would help...

Like this.....

To be honest, I prefer the color, but I am not a huge fan of B&W unless an image screams for it.

Now Sepia with the blue channel pulled down....

I kinda like

Well, it's definitely personal taste. I love B/W, so I gravitate to those images; the one I edited I increased the black & upped the contrast on to make it look a little sharper. It does loose some of the softness of that beautiful baby hair (which to me is a lovely feature, not a problem at all). She is a beautiful little one!

Unfortunately I do find the hair distracting, as well as the crumpled dress I'm sorry!
She does have beautiful eyes.

Don't be sorry.... not my kid, hair (although I wish it was) or ironing..... I do appreciate your thoughts.

My other thought was to crop it right in and get rid of those elements. Also lets you focus on her big eyes....
