Default Another #@$&ing direct sun wedding

Another wedding with 100 Degree weather and not a cloud in the sky.....

I like this shot, just wish I had clouds to work with. Does this one go in the portfolio, or does the specular lighting loose it for you?

Scott, dappled light always has the potential to mess up a good image, but in this case, it's really not too bad. One thing that is bothering me though is the church steeple in the background. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems to compete a little with the couple and draws my eye up, and out of the image.

I noticed the steeple first before the couple, it's is a commanding structure in that empty blue sky. Second thing I noticed was the grooms expression...kinda like a grimiss/pained look. For me that part, more than the steeple, gives me pause. Lighting looks ok by me.

Perfect. I appreciate the feedback. Sometimes we get too close to the images and that's why it is good to get others feedback. Thanks guys

Scott, would you consider a tighter crop to just below the base of the steeple? It also moves the subjects faces up into the ROT's area..worth a try?
